Zohar Kfir – video art

Zohar Kfir contacted Indyish recently and what a pleasure it’s been to investigate her video art. Not least among the work featured on her website is a found footage piece called Sometime Somewhere. There is a way to work with found footage and sound that is revelatory and nostalgic and contemporary all at once, and I think it requires a really strong editting eye to keep layering textures on, and pulling clutter out.
