Where the songs are online: helping you get prep’d for Music Video Making

by Risa Dickens

Alright, so we’re throwing this 24 Music Video Making Contest. Participants will receive their song on the 5th of August and will come back with their video made- and burned to DVD- 24hrs later, on the 6th. At that point, the judges chosen by the bands will head out, watch what was submitted, and come back 4 hours later with the winners, which will get aired that night at the Party. It’ll be tight but awesome.

As for what the songs will be, nobody’s telling.

The bands may be dropping by this space to post hints, suggestions, ideas for what they’d like to see done with the mystery song, though.

And for now, I can help you out by pointing to where these three talented musical groups have posted their songs online.

Shoot the Moon has put all of the songs from their first EP, entitled Where Strangers Live here:

Telefauna has all their songs from their first EP, entitled Their 1st EP here:

Sara Johnston has put all her songs and lyrics from her first solo album, entitled Sleeper, on her website, which is here:

note: to find the songs on Sara’s site, click the small arrow on the music player. It’ll open a drop down menu with all the songs in it. it took me a second to figure this out, so i figured i’d share the tip.
