Where did the comments go? Updates on the glossy new site refresh

As Elran announced two days ago (and as you’ve probably noticed if you’re used to visiting Indyish) the website has been updated and refreshed. I think it’s looking pretty glossy and fine, if you ask me.

For the next few weeks I’ll be blogging about some of the changes that might be less noticeable than the brand new sheen, which I may have mentioned, I think is glossy. One thing I noticed (because I spend a lot of time on the website) is that at the bottom of every page you used to be able to see what posts had recently been commented on. Where did this go?

Well, if you’re on the main Blog page (www.indyish.com/blog) they’re still at the bottom of the first post.

When you’re on an individual post (like this one) you’ll see that they’ve been moved to the right side of the page. Check out the new blue box that says “Browse Indyish Content”. Not only can you click to load the most recent comments, but you can also browse by category in the boutique (products), by topic (tag), and check out our staff columns (IndieBiz, Review, Venue Stories, Broken Telephones, Performer’s Body). You’d have to ask Elran, but I assume by having this stuff hidden until you ask for it, it makes every page load quicker and you can find the stuff you’re looking for more easily.
