by Tessa Smith

Friday November 10th (that’s tonight) the Department of Design for the Theatre at Concordia Unviersity is presenting a Live Auction of found chairs that have been re-designed by the Theatre Design students. The exhibit, called “and then I sat down” has been on display at the FoFA Gallery since Nov. 1st. and tonight is an Auction Fundraiser of the works hosted by Auctioneer Harry Standjofski to raise funds for the students’ trip to the Prague Quadrennial Scenofest 2007.

Oh, and after the auction, head over to Main Hall where Telefauna are doing a sort of battle-of-the-bands in the MIMI showcase. The other bands sound great too and it should be a really fun night. Come support these guys and dance like mad. You know you waaaaanna.

or! hit friendship cove to see Lil Pip with Tyler from Telefauna, who’ll be cabbing it over to the Main Hall to do two shows in one night bc he’s sneaky and action packed like that- and at friendship cove tonight you can also catch “no cars go” i think, and they’re cool because they seem to be kind of a concept band and the concept involves shreiking, squaking (in a good way!) and giving out candy.
