Useless Wooden Toys

Useless Wooden Toys; the title sounds cool, kinda misleading though, it’s the title for an art show at Off The Hook this Friday. The thing is the toys aren’t useless because they all being auctioned off to raise money for Skate for Cancer. Also, there are no toys in the show, instead, all of the artists have been given a clock to paint or do whatever they want with. Next thing I’m going to tell you is that everything is made of plastic right? Nope, all the clocks are made of wood and were designed by Montreal designers Furni.

The vernissage is from 8-11 on Monday February 12th at Off the Hook 1021 A St. Catherines West, 3rd Floor. All the clocks will be auctioned off from February 12th to May 27th. During the online auction the show will be on tour, on February 23rd at Antisocial in Vancouver, from February 25th to 27th at Know? Show West in Vancouver and from March 16th to 30th at NormlClothing in Ottawa.
