Upcoming Skart Shows
by Chris DyerHigh, this is my first blog on Indyish so Im sorta nervous, but i wanted to let ya know of a couple of group shows I will be participating in the next week.
The first one is called “La Paria” and is organized by our local skateboard scene. This is our 3rd year showing the artwork that comes out of our sick skate scene and this year it’s bigger than ever. Definitely worth your time, even if ya dont care at all about skateboards. It happens at Cegep Vieux Montreal (255 Ontario East) between the 3 and 7 of December. The kickass Vernissage Party is on Monday the 3rd between 6 and 10pm.
This Skart Show will then move to Morgan Bridge Gallery in Quebec City (367 rue du Pont), witha Vernissage on the 14th (8pm).
The Second show I wanted to tell ya about happens in San Francisco, California. “Something Visionary” will take place at Culture Skate at 214 Valencia in the Mission, between 6 to 10pm on December 8th. Im stocked on the artist lineup, so check it out if your around.
