Upcoming demaes Album: New Song-Clips on Myspace

Montreal’s the Darling DeMaes posted a couple pre-mastered sound-bytes from their upcoming album on their myspace (www.myspace.com/thedarlingdemaes).
The F.A.C.T.O.R-supported album was recorded and mixed across the train tracks at Mountain City by Joseph Donovan (The Dears, Sam Roberts) and Adrian Popovich (Tricky Woo, Mongrels).
In late August, the demaes head down to Toronto to master the record with Noah Mintz.
The release date’s still not known, but will most likely happen autumn-ish.
In the meantime, demaes singer/guitarist, Erik Virtanen, is doing a hitchhiking solo tour across Western Canada to find inspiration for some of the ten songs he’s been asked to write about our fair land. His solo dates are also on the demaes’ myspace.
