Tyler Rauman has made posters for an incredible group of musicians and magazines because his art is beautiful and he works hard. He does detailed, odd, outsider themes, and if you live here in Montreal you’ve seen it, guaranteed, on lampposts and the like around town. But to see it in passing is one thing. To see it warm and well lit and with friends and 2 dollar beers is another, so come join us this Friday (March 14) at 7pm to checkout the art and give pats on backs and highfives and check out Tyler’s mobiles! It’s the monthly Wooden Apples art show! Wooden Apples in on Parc Av, between Fairmount and St Viateur. Here’s a flyer!

Word on the street is there will be cake?! And cheap cheap beer!

the mobiles are beautiful! the first one was made as a gift for a friend who’s having a baby. i can imagine that a child growing up with sparkly daggers and fluo clouds circling above their head would naturally become the coolest/weirdest person ever.
