Toronto Comic Arts Festival!

This weekend if you’re in Toronto I hope you’re browsing and perusing up a storm at Victoria college, pawing gleefully through heaps of comic art as I’d always like to be. Really. All the time.
Come on, get out the house! (do as I say, eh, not as I do apparently.) Channel your inner child if you need to … for fun, prep to make references to Understanding Comics, realllly casual like. Yeah! sexy.
Still to go at the fest today (Aug 18, 2007) is a “queer voices in comics and graphic novels” panel, and performances tonight at Sneaky Dees by comic artists who are also musicians. heh. Geeky and awesome.
While you’re there (if you’re there) say Hello!! to Jim Munroe and take a look at his graphic novel, Therefore Repent!
Jim and his books are in the Alumni Hall this weekend, which I guess you can probably find if you wander around near the Victoria building and read signs, or hollar.
