Tonight: Red Light party & vernissage at the Main Hall!

by team indyish

Looking for something to do tonight? Here’s some Friday-night fun (filled with debauchery!) for you to think about…

Come to the Red Light Party at the Main Hall to commemorate World AIDS Day!

Main Hall has joined with Head & Hands to host a Red Light evening of art, advocacy and dancing to benefit the Sense Project. Postcards, created by Montreal youth, on the theme HIV/AIDS solidarity will decorate the venue. These will later be mailed to both Health and Education Ministers, in an effort to raise awareness around the lack of sexual health in Quebec high schools and to encourage youths’ civic engagement.

The Vernissage will be followed by local burlesque, Dead Doll Dancers and DJs.

forweb1.jpgThe “Red Light Party” is part of a series of weekly Friday night events (”Fagity Ass Fridays”) geared towards sustaining the Sense Projects positive spin on “queer-friendly” sexual health education with high school students.

The evening is all about raising awareness and funds for the Sense Project, showcasing the artwork of local youth, and having a wild time.

The theme is red light, so be creative and feel free to dress up!

Where: Main Hall (5390 St. Laurent, Montreal)

When: Friday November 30th, 9pm

Why: To benefit the Sense Project

Featuring Tony Ezzy, the Dead Doll Dancers, DJ Dirty Boots, a kissing booth, and much more!
