Swoon, is pretty much all that comes to mind, I’m sorry but it’s true. Anna Wintour is the single most influential person in a multi-billion-dollar global industry because of her job, which she got because of her ability to both see a thing clearly and speak clearly about what she sees; she has focused her whole life on riding the gutspeak of editorial instinct and direct communication about visual, non verbal things. So from a media perspective I think she’s fascinating, and also, oh my god, the clothes!

Fashion can be as intense and rich form of art as any and I am sure this film exemplifies that as well as showcasing what a strong intelligent woman Anna Wintour is. I’ve been waiting eagerly for The September Issue to come out in Montreal. I’m so curious as to how Wintour is presented in the document since she’s such a notorious control freak. It’s exciting that there have been so many Fashion films lately (Valentino: The Last Emperor, Coco avant Chanel)!
