The Pity Party Music Video and Making-of Video

by Marie-Eve

The Pity Party is back with a new music video for their song “Stop, Stand up, Be quiet, Be Still”.

If you feel totally confused when you watch this, please know that you are not alone. I don’t really understand what’s going on either. But it’s fun to watch.

The video is a bizarre story of two scientists conducting experiments on cupcakes. Then they paint their faces with frosting and dance around a fire. I won’t give away the ending, but that’s when the weirdness peaks.

I decided to watched the Making-of video in hopes of understanding the music video a bit more. But unfortunately, all we learn from this video is that the crew is just as a crazy as the band.

Good song though! I would definitely check them out in concert. If you’re in the LA area on n November 30th, head to Spaceland for a free show. They will also be doing an unplugged live set on Spread Radio Live’s Zero Hour Radio Show on December 2nd at 8pm.
