Blogging live from the Tent o’ Fringe. Hurrah! The Indyish tent is set up, and Indyfolks are busy feng-shuifying our new tarpaulin abode. Free wireless is flowing bounteously through the Parc des Ameriques air, and as far as we can tell, nothing, NOTHING can possibly go wrong.
In Assembly News: The 2.0 Train is rolling into the next leg of the relay. On June 1st we received 16 scripts over Celtx from writers all over the map. On June 5th, a team of us met at Risa and Elran’s office for an afternoon-evening of script-reading. Boxes of both Domino’s Pizza and Boréal blonde saw us through a lengthy discussion of the scripts. The scripts are pretty well sorted through now between those that will be passed to animators and those to actors. Tonight the animators will receive their scripts, and on Monday, the actors will be handed theirs.
These artists are not bound by the script they are given. It’s a relay, which means that so long as they’ve got the torch, they can do whatever the heck they want with it.
Should be cool. Keep checking the blog for more updates on the relay! And for more Fringeishness at large.
There are actually 18 scripts, including the one latecomer. woo!
