Thanksgiving POPluck!

So Pop Montreal kicks off tomorrow evening and the Indyish are busy getting pumped for their extensive coverage of its wonders. There’s gonna be blogs! There’s gonna be photos! There’s gonna be Video! Interviews! Workshops! Music! Publishing! Afterparties! And lots of vitamin C come holiday Monday.

But lest we forget the true spirit of this weekend and its manifestation through the enjoyment of roasted sweet potatoes, red wine, and rosy candlelit apartments. If you’re feeling like giving thanks, whether to the pilgrims (who, in Canada, I assume take the form of those pioneers building their own house in the heritage moment), to the paegans and their bang-on sense of when and how to celebrate, or to the organizers and bands of pop montreal for bringing together such an exhaustingly awesome selection of good things to see and do this weekend….please join us this friday night for a VEGETARIAN POPLUCK!!!

Come by Friday around 5:30 with a vegetarian dish of your making, and we’ll be having some preshow drinks afterwards
It’s in NDG at 1066 Old Orchard Ave, right at the corner of old orchard and upperlachine about 10 minutes west of Vendome metro station.

Rumour has it some of the bands are gonna be there….
