Taiwan Does Photo of the Day

Photographers can submit their photos of Taiwan to this daily stream and have them featured on websites like this one here. I like the idea of this tiny island nation gathering and sharing beautiful photos over the web for the past year, like a curated chronicle of identity accumulating and shifting through different artists’ eyes. This is a photo of a group of women who perform Taoist Dance all over Taiwan, submitted to the collection by Dalbanese. I lke this one in particular because it captures that feeling of time stopping and rushing in towards the hypnotic movements of ritual dance.
