We moved around a couple of things on both the Front page and Blog page. Take a look and let us know what you think by clicking on the little red “F” that appears throughout the site (on the right just above the sidebar).

Indyish is powered by WordPress, a freely available and enormously popular open source blogging software.
Every couple of months, the system needs to be upgraded to the most recent version of WordPress. This new version (2.0.4) brings with it over 50 bug and security fixes so we just couldn’t resist the temptation any longer.
We’ll be testing [...]
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been not-so-secretly testing some performance upgrades for the site. Nothing you’d actually notice on the outside (although design and minor layout changes are coming very soon).
But on the inside, much of the code has been optimized with a focus on:

There seems to be a bug where some users who published a post - end up with 2 posts that are identical. The only difference between the duplicate entries is in the URL.

A little while ago, we added the tagging feature to indyish which allows our visitors to navigate the site in new and interesting ways. Tags allow you to browse for products that have been associated with “keywords” chosen by our members. They appear at the bottom of every post, and a giant “tag cloud” is [...]
we’ve implemented tagging of posts in the last version of Indyish (beta v3). users can now browse the site by clicking on any of the tags located at the bottom of every post. Also, you can get a view of all tags from the front page. Once you’ve clicked on a given tag, you will [...]
this feature has been requested a few times by some of our artists. the basic idea is that instead of deleting old products that you used to sell on indyish, why not just mark them as “No Longer Being Produced” whic would automatically change the style of the post (but leaving the original info intact).
