there is a tangram in all of us.

je me suis pris à caresser
la mer qui hume les orages
- paul éluard

i’d kill for some watery air and the dawn of my fin wings.

makeshift jackstraws;
scattering a handful of sticks
& tricks to base the reading
of destiny

words lack,
stars last.

tick, tock, tick, tock,
tiptoes the tipping clock,
with burning eyes & lack of sleep,
my bloody seas & my dust,
one tick,
two ticks,
three-ring circus,
tock, tock, tock.

enter no(silence is the blood whose flesh
is singing)silence:but unsinging. In
spectral such hugest how hush,one
dead leaf stirring makes a crash
-far away(as far as alive)lies
april;and i breathe-move-and-seem some
perpetually roaming whylessness-
autumn has gone:will winter never come?

o come,terrible anonymity;enfold
phantom me with the murdering minus of cold
-open this ghost with millionary knives of wind-
scatter his nothing all over what [...]

always i see you from under like the water waiting to drown you like the sand waiting to engulf you like the ground that slips beneath you until your fingers touch the wave of clouds until i become your waving cloud and your disaster runs upon shadows the skipping stones the circles that gather on [...]
