Neat from the CNN newsroom, check out this massive art installation in Los Angeles (where it is warm and sprawly and beachy, le sigh) showing original sections of the Berlin wall and the incredible art scrawled across it by longing hearts, not so long ago.

New Montreal group Pablo the Band are more successful then most at riding the dangerous edge between unpleasant noises and pleasurable ones; they push me away but then something rubs me the right way, and instead of turning them off, I turn them up louder.
