There isn’t very much to say, except for the fact that all three bands were a dancy good time and provided a stress-reliever kind of evening that I was very much in need of! More photos from the evening on my recently re-activated flickr account.
Seasons Greetings, people.
Friendship Cove is having an X-Mas Special this Friday, Dec 15th. And you’re all invited to come down and buy some beer. We have a Snow Fort, a Fire place, and Cat. There might be some cookies but they’ll probably be all eaten by the time you get here. There will be some [...]
Much thanks should go out to Blue Skies Turn Black for having sought out and tunneled plein de cool into Montreal here over the years. They teamed with Friendship Cove to throw the birthday party that shook city blocks last week; here’s my quick little review with some photos from Marilis Cardinal.

Check ‘em out on her sis’s Flickr, and hopefully in the Indyish [...]

I suspect the constant nagging of “when oh when will you be playing a show?” must have taken a toll on Magic Weapon’s Jordan Robson Cramer and finally, he caved and what a treat it was!
The night’s lineup was somewhat questionable, or rather… varied. I think the best way to look at this would [...]

Since February 10th, more than 60 artists around the city have been involved in a collaborative art-making relay called The Assembly. All month, art projects have passed from [...]
