Loving this song and video for “Raid the Radio” from General Electriks, and it’s so true, the radio is a wasteland 9 times out of 10, lets free the DJ’s. If you like the classic Blackalicious sound, then you love RV, you mebbe just don’t know it yet…
PR:
General Elektriks is the brainchild of Hervé “RV” [...]
Trance it out buddies, work those kinks and stresses, socialist anxieties and capitalist pressures, baby kneed that into the floor and tell it to come back for more, because you are fly and all over it.
Enjoy this mp3 from Ukraine’s The Majestics.

Good morning darling, you are so beautiful I want to keep you in my house, and oddly, Icelandic indie artists Múm know exactly what I mean.
Múm “Sing Along” from Team G on Vimeo.
Two white vans pulled up on our little street and musicians loaded with gear started pouring out and I yelled, “honey, they’re here” but not loud enough, apparantly because when Elran came in he was surprised to find himself face to face with 16 individuals and their hopefuldubious smiles all in our small kitchen, like [...]
Classy and creepy and then irresistibly danceable, St Vincent’s song Marrow is successfully complimented by the video, which slams the world into the stuttered banging blankness that is exactly what the world is like in that trauma moment when you need the H – E – L – P.
Desktop is Keith Thompson from Electric Six and Zach Curd from The Pop Project.
Desktop is unlike Curd’s and Thompson’s other projects, meeting somewhere between Stevie Wonder, New Order and 80s Detroit techno. Thompson’s thick and driving bass lines and Curd’s rich, reverb-drenched harmonies stand out as highlights of their debut self-titled EP. The EP was [...]
First of all, Zebra Pants is an excellent band name and Barton Fink is very good as well with it’s formidable nod to the Cohenesque artist stuck looking for stories and finding B-movie murder, so kudos to both the sparkly darlings, and thanks for the free album sharing!
A firstish album is a very logical [...]
We’re just a couple of days away from the big blowout Birthday Mess! It’s going to be a blast, and we’re all really excited about it!
We’ve made a few changes to the schedule, everything is being condensed into one day, August 15th!
But we’ve got some fantastic, new additions to the show!
* Inertia Productions will be [...]
This track is one that clearly shows our style. The name Mr. Mc Bludgeon was chosen to give credit to the Dave (since Mr. McBludgeon is his stage name).
The song was recorded almost 100% in an abandoned beer brewery. Definately a hit in our books! (If only virgin radio would agree)

Yesterday Foals started releasing free bits of songs, some free, downloadable loop love from the hot plum start of the recording process. Here’s one of the four snippits released, just called “A Future Dub” for now, and you can grab the rest via the Foals Myspace, and check out their lovely twitching music videos right [...]
