Roswell Rudd, jazz trombonist and improvising musician, has played with an impressive list of jazz giants including Cecil Taylor, Gil Evans, Archie Shepp, Don Cherry, Albert Ayler, Carla Bley, Charlie Haden and Dave Burrell to name just a few. He was personnel on the New York Art Quartet, with John Tchicai, Milford Graves, Lewis Worrell and Amiri Baraka in 1964 and went on to release nearly 50 recordings since then. Rudd has been considered “…a trombonist of such sweeping power and majesty that he transcends all styles” (John Wilson, The New York Times).

Bassist Mark Dresser collaborated with Rudd on their 2006 Clean Feed release AIRWALKERS. Dresser has been composing and performing music around the world since the early seventies. He experimented in the world of film scoring with his Force Green and Mark Dresser Trio projects, performing music for the French Surrealist masterpiece of Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali, Un Chien Andalou as well as the German expressionist classic, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. For ten years he performed with the Anthony Braxton Quartet, as well as diverse groups led by Ray Anderson, Tim Berne, Anthony Davis, Gerry Hemingway, John Zorn, and others. He has made over sixty recordings.
