Suoni Preview: ¡¡¡¡¡¡ELFIN SADDLE¡¡¡¡¡¡

From the miniature deciduous forests of Japan and Canada, where toy pianos, glockenspiels and musical saws grow, Elfin Saddle emerges alongside an army of imaginary little friends, to hold our ears captive with their magical sounds.

Emi Honda and Jordan McKenzie recently joined forces with the good beings at Villa Villa Nola to release their Water Mother EP; a 4 song collection comprised of outtakes from the Kill Devil Hills release Gigantic Mother / Wounded Child, along with some new material.

With influences as diverse as outsider art, archival folk recordings, and anime, Elfin Saddle have revealed themselves to be one of Montreal’s more unique musical projects.

They’ll be taking over the headlining slot (after a recent cancellation from Marissa Nadler which I’m kinda bummed about) on Wednesday June 25th at Casa Del Popolo. Bring your mojo beans, faerie wings and spirit friends along…
