Woo! The blog is back online and we’ve got some exciting news to announce:
Indyish is launching a new season of Monthly Messes with a great big sugar-high hoedown. We’re tapping into March’s seasonal Sugar Shack madness and cooking up a bottomless batch of pancakes doused in maple syrup. Hosted by local comedian, Christophe Davidson, the lineup includes Country music favourites Li’l Andy and No Barbers Required, whiskey-fueld hoedown tunes by Bad Uncle and Brie Neilson and singalong with Deep River Decoy. The show also features visual art by comicbook artist Karl Kerschl, whose portfolio runs the gamut from Superman to backwoods birdies.
Indyish’s Monthly Mess remains a Pay What You Can event and this month those who donate $5 or more will get to partake in a feast of cabane à sucre treats. Whiskey will be flowing like snow in springtime, and local brews, provided exclusively by our sponsor at McAuslan, are 2 for $5 all night. Organic, locally-milled pancakes are supplied by our sponsor Moulin Abenakis. All profits from Indyish events go directly towards supporting the web-based network and tools for artists here at www.Indyish.com.
For most recent info, check out the MonthlyMess page and the Sugar Shack facebook page.
See ya there!
this is gonna be so killer.
