Subtitle Record Launch with Giselle Numba One, Small is Beautiful and The Psychotropical Orchestra

by Risa Dickens

this from giselle numba one-

Subtitle, the most adored of all 6″8 motermouth MCs, has just moved into our fair city for good. This is his first official welcome to our town party, where he’ll be backed up by J’aime Tambeur (the percussive mastermind behind Islands, The Unicorns, and Th’ Cornn Gangg). His new album (Terrain to Roam) on Alphapup has just been put back in the stores, (after some legal drama caused it to be shelved two weeks after it’s release date, while Sub was on tour with Islands promoting the thing!) This is definitley cause for celebration.

So spread the word! For Subtitle’s bio, check out: www.giovannimarks.com . You can find mine @ www.danagement.net

Hit me up if anyone wants press photos of any of these fools. We’re all awful pretty on the printed page.

Also- I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing The Psychotropical Orchestra. For one, that’s a great meaty name and for two, more interestingly perhaps, they describe themselves as part of the musical, cultural movement which the Brazilian Culture MInster Gilberto Gil links to open source in this wired article.
