dear homies,
now I understand all that has been said about this place. After just a week Gracia and I have seen all the sights and museums, but just walking about is overwhelming..i hope all of you have either experienced it or plan to do it one day.
We have been lucky enough to have friends to host us, and for my brother to cross paths with us to enjoy good food and weather. Aside from the obvious, we’ve even caught the Simpsons movie and Grass and I even had the pleasure to meet the legendary Psychosis from 156 crew – a graffiti artists for those who dont know – where he showed us around his studio and plan to go explore the katacombs.
Next we plan to go to Montpellier to spend some time relaxing in the beach before going to Gent or possibly Amsterdam. After this we’ll be going to Berlin and Vienna where I will have a group show at the Inoperable Gallery – http://www.401rush.com/ – and after this I will be staying in Barcelona for a while for a solo show at Candela in September, but more on this when I get there. The show I had in Montreal at Le Kop Shop went great too, many thanks to all of those who were able to make it and for those who couldnt worry not, i will have the art up on my site when I return in the fall. There was a tease photo of a painting of mine on the Mirror if you caught it that week and Fred, one of the cofounders of the Kop Shop was kind enough to mention it on an interviez on graffiti for the Globe and Mail – unfortunately i just noticed its not available anymore for me and its asking for money so unless you have lots of money or the August 4th paper you wont see it.
I noticed the weather in Montreal is excellent so if youre there continue enjoying it and if not then enjoy life wherever you may be, you’ll hear back from me in September
Much love,
:peru
