A sweet, sultry and sarcastic album from Sara Johnston. A short drive up St. Urbain street from her music with Bran Van 3000.
Sara Johnston's sweet and softly scratchy tones are evolving in all kinds of interesting ways. This is her first solo full length album since Bran Van 3000's heady days. It's layered with some mournful harmonies and some funny lyrics and is all around loveable, especially the hidden track.
yup. thanks goodness sara has decided to ship out cd’s that are purchased from europe via indyish, otherwise a few folks i know of would still be sad. fyi- indyish officially doesn’t ship outside canada/us but in practice it’s up to each artist to decide if they’ll ship that far. if they decide not too, we just refund you. so far actually, all the indyish artists who’ve encountered this delightful dilemma have chosen to go for it. it’s tough to resist the awesomeness of having friends and fans abroad. who doesn’t like friends?
