Sketch Comedy Writing Classes

After years of helping to create award-winning sketch comedy shows with Uncalled For and keeping the secrets of how to do so greedily to himself like so many hoarded magical amulets, Uncalled For’s perpetually tall Anders Yates is getting ready to spread the wisdom of the ages that can facilitate the writing of goofy scenes. Starting next Wednesday, January 13th, Anders will be offering a five week course in sketch comedy writing through the wonderful and steadily growing local improv teaching company Montreal Improv. Forget about that New Year’s resolution to write that novel, and start writing things that are short enough to actually finish (and which could all make fun of the notion of novel-writing, in case you have any demons you need to work out of your system by way of mocking them).
