Sister Suvi Singer at Wa’ou

If you happen to be wandering around the Mile End of Montreal, um, right now! Wander yourself into Wa’ou, a mad designer crafty friperie on Parc just north of St Viateur. Merrill from Sister Suvi is playing a solo set there now in the pretty window, and it’s just her in her bare feet working the sampler and it’s quite astonishing and lovely!

Here’a video of the lady to give you a taste, and if you were at our Indyish XMESS, our monthly showcase last December at Ye Old Orchard, then you’ve seen Sister Suvi and witnessed the dear ballsy sweet vocal play of ms Merrill.
