I’m going to have to do a really quick one now because who knows how long I’m going to have wireless for. My roommate is just ranting away because he managed to score a laminated viking that was hiding in the woods and got the OK from the artist to “steal” and was even asked to get a photo of it in it’s new environment, but he got stopped by security on the way out. He’s very sad. He sounds like someone just took away his child. The bars from the wireless connection are dropping dangerously.
Macy Gray was honestly, surprisingly… awesome! One of the best part of the whole weekend was when she donned her red hat/mask/cane combo and had a man come out on stage with giant lyric posters and did a karaoke style song with the crowd. Oh wow, it was so good. Tristan managed to get the most awesome photos ever which I’m sure will make their way here very soon. I headed over to Besnard Lakes after and caught the end of the set, the crowd at the MEG stage was probably the biggest it had been so far, but it was nothing compared to how much people showed up for M.I.A. after. That had to be the best moment of the whole festival. I gave up trying to see anything pretty early on and decided to just dance it off, which I did. So much dancing, it was amazing. There was the first encore I got to witness at the Osheaga festival and she came back for 2 more songs for a field full of dancing people ready to dance for so many more hours. If you’re reading this Sunday night, you can head out to Korova for M.I.A. after party and dance it off. I, for one, have school tomorrow. Not really excited about it but what are you gonna do?
Poor Kurt, he’s still really heartbroken about the viking. He’s reminiscing on the Viking’s red nipples. I’ll get off his laptop now so he can pour his pain onto facebook or his online blog or whatever it is he wants to do, but I will upload some photos from school tomorrow. Yeah? Hell yeaaaah! Osheaga 2007 is over and done with and it was a lot of fun. Thank you thank you thank you Risa for the passes and the opportunity to pour my heart out on the world wide web.
And congrats Marilis on two full days of Osheaga blogging!! You’re the queen!

No, Macy Gray is the queen. By the way, if anyone did go to Korova, well… I’m sorry. I meant Coda. Oopsies!
