dear the indyish community:
yo. thanks for allowing me to be a part of all that is awesome and indy[ish.] I am a 26 year old artist from the Boston area who spent four years in the Studio For Interrelated Media (S.I.M.) at MassArt. After a few years of being a working stiff, I decided I might as well work myself stiff-and started Project TransAction. Money and I have a hate/hate relationship, so being a small business man is quite a challenge for me. TransAction is a culmination of many ideas and projects-with a current focus on screen printing and leatherwork. I have worked at quite a few print shops and really seem to have a passion for the techniques of applying images to other surfaces. As a political artist, this is also a great way to get some ideas out.
In addition to regular ol’ tees, I am interested in printing on leather cuffs and jackets, suit jackets, underwear, and some other choice textiles. I am also currently learning how to alter shirts to make some killer stylin’ ladies clothes.
My main goal is to make high quality, affordable, eco-friendly products and to have a good time doing it.
:Pleasure to meet you- and keep your eyes peeled for more…:
