Preview- The Winks, Secret Mommy Quintet and Elfin Saddle

I just got a cute little message from the Winks’ Todd and I thought I would share it for a few simple little reasons. Firstly, two of my favorite bands will be performing (so Elfin Saddle and the Winks) and because discovering new goodies is always fun. While I don’t know much about the Secret Mommy Quintet despite the fact that they have a really sweet name, The Winks pretty much guarantee your dose of confettis and colorful outfits, with some shiny visuals (which I’ve witnessed and always appreciated) and Elfin Saddle will bring you back to that secret little cabin you built in the woods when you were a kid, using the most comforting combination of saw and accordion that has been recklessly overplayed in my household. Actually, not recklessly, in fact, I think I might just put on their latest release, Gigantic Mother / Wounded Child, right now. Just letting y’all know about the week long tour we’re doing with The Secret Mommy Quintet. We have big new batch of songs we’ve been working on like crazy for the past few weeks and our current line up includes Josh Zubot (who has played a bunch of shows with us on violin) on drums & percussion. Therefore, it will be a Winks trio + a few special guests along the way.
