Podreading Jamcast Session

Hello and happy new year! It’s been over a month since last we visited the land of podcast. Now we’re back with the third and final installment of that ever so entertaining evening of music featuring the It’s a Living Thing band, Me & Maryjane, Risa and myself. After the last Indyish meeting, we were all pretty stoked about the possibilities of the podcast page, so I decided it was high time to release this one to the world.

We initially intended to dedicate the evening to a podcast reading with some background music for ambience. However, as you have seen from the several podcasts previously posted from this session, our innocent little reading turned into a full blown concert in my living room.

BUT…! Low and behold, we actually did manage to get a reading done amongst the musical performances that evening!! It has been sitting on my hard drive, waiting to be mixed, bounced and uploaded to our ever so dear podcast page. The reading happens about a third of the way into the jam session, so be patient - this podcast was totally improvised and it’s kind of long, but it does come with a creamy reading-filled centre which makes it well worth the wait…
