Bach Affetuoso by Aleks Schürmer of Tabarnaks D’Epoque. It’s brandeburg concerto no. 5, 2e movement.

At one point in conversation, Aleks started throwing words like ”Haydn” and ”Quartet” and I giggled because he assumed I would know what he was talking about. So here’s music 101 with Aleks Schürmer: The Bach is slow and with only violin and flute and harpsichord, the Haydn is piano and flute and its fast. Les Tabarnak d’Époques will be playing in quartet, just for you, on Wednesday.
