After a month of stalling everything while looking for a job, I’m finally getting my act together and trying to get my portfolio done. About time!! With Osheaga comming up, I should get my lot of live music shots, I’ve been doing some fashion shoots for friends in my program (fashion design) who also want to move their portfolio along, and one of the things I didn’t have very much of was band shots! Well problem solved! Along came Tessa and her band, Brave Radar, whom you might have heard at the first assembly. We planned to meet on Parc and as I was walking, all of a sudden, it started pouring. And I mean, pouring! I met up with soaked Conor and Tessa and we sat around going through the props they brought. As it turns out the rain was very much of a blessing because the sky, as you’ll see it in the pictures, was eery and dark. We went up to the roof and I made them stand around while I took pictures. Fun times!

As I was editing them, I sent Tessa a preview shot that Graham from Think About Life happened to see and so we scheduled shoot for that following Sunday. This time, it was under clear skies that we walked over to the water park somewhere around Bernard St. I think and here are the photos we got:

Hey marilis! Thanks again for the lovely photos. We were really impressed by how well they turned out, considering how awkward me and Conor are and how we were drenched to the bone at the beginning of the shoot. But looks like that worked in Think About Life’s favour too. They look studly, I say. But I guess that word is sort of awkward.
