Photos from Denis Gagnon at L’Oréal Fashion Week

On day one of L’Oréal Fashion Week, I was excited to finally be able to witness Denis Gagnon’s second collection since his return into the business after a short disappearance. He did not deceive me or anyone else in the tents. Although he presented what turned out to be yet another selection of black outfits in a week pretty much stripped of any colors, Denis Gagnon’s  fall/winter 2008 collection provided what he does best- a smart collection, complete with complex draping and heavy knits, curved jersey pleats and gotta-get-me-one-of-those leather jackets. And probably my favorite of the collections seen all week.
