Photo location hunt
by Marilis CardinalHow do you do? I thought I’d turn to the world wide web and ask you Montrealers something. I’m doing a photoshoot with Sister Suvi on Saturday and I’m looking for a sweet livingroom or alley way or field to take photos in and am hoping for some suggestions. If you have a photo or a link of that place, send it to me to marilis.cardinal @gmail.com or comment! A place with a sweet wallpaper or just really good lighting, a tree house, a hallway in construction, a staircase at the back of a convinience store? And also, on Sunday, I might be phototaking with The Winks. I was thinking of going to Le Palais des Congres because I’ve heard rumors of a pink forest that I’ll go hunt down today, but I’m open to any other ideas!

i don’t think it would totally suit the winks but i’d love to see a shoot from inside the mccord museum at mcgill. all those fossils and diagrams and diorama in the beautiful old space.. yum.

Yes, the Winks would have a good time in the Palais de Congres. The pink tubes are on the ground floor, facing Square Victoria.
As for “indie” locations for your other shoot, I’d look on Rachel to see if you can find a doorway that would look good. (I think there’s one close to St-Laurent that might fit the bill.)
