Open-House Take 2

This Sunday I will be hosting my second Open-House. Show up any time after 3pm and stay until midnight… or just drop in for a little bit. I will again be setting up the mini-studio for headshots; I will spend 20-30 mins taking close to 400 shots of you for a suggested donation of 30$ (which will also get you a DVD full of the shots on the spot). I will have professional lighting for the session, so the look will be quite cool… check out www.flickr.com/photos/tristanbrand for examples. If you are interested in a longer, more private session, we can negotiate that.

Bring food and cook in my kitchen. Bring music and take over my sound system or share it with friends new and old. Bring your laptops and get on my wireless connexn (bring blank DVDs and CD to rip other people’s stuff or hand out your stuff). Bring booze. Bring business cards to network with. Bring stuff to work on, stuff to create, stuff to wear in your studio session, stuff to share and then bring more stuff. Hell, you can bring stuff to sell too if you’d like. I also expect you to go through my stuff… look through my books, my photos, my music, my movies… this is an Open-House folks, and nothing is sacred.

I expect some of the Indyish gang to be hanging out, so it’s a great chance to hear what’s going on between the Fringe and Indyish, meet some noise-makers, and start talking about what you might bring to their next Mess at Katacombes… check out www.indyish.com/events

Where? NDG: 2290 Girouard, apt 380. Right on the corner of Sherbrooke. You can walk there form Vendome Metro or take the 105 two whole stops to my place. I’m just west of the Decarie expressway. Google Map Me, Baby!
When? 3pm onwards… well, until midnight really.
Why? To mesh with other folk, take some cool pictures, cook some cool food, share… etc.
