Open Borders – call for video submissions

by Risa Dickens

This call was posted on SpaceCollective and, like much of the wise goodness sprouting from that website, I thought you might find it of interest. It’s a call for short, high quality videos about Borders and what a borderless global society that protects freedom of movement could be like. A dreamy inter-stitching of identities… or? What do you think?

Are migration controls the new Apartheid?

Your stories

Your epiphanies

Send us your ideas in video blog form:
1) Under 1 minute (if possible) – short and concise diamond bullets of insight
(note: gmail has a file upload limit of 25mb)
2) Use the highest quality settings on the web videos with good clean audio

The videos will be edited together into a forward thinking narrative film – for the Internet and a multi-screen video installation – that hopes to create much needed debate and add to other efforts that aim to rise the horizon of humanity.

Closing date for this round | 10 August 2009
