My Neural Art presents:
“Tyler Was An Artist”

I’m having an art vernissage at the Green Room (5390 St.Laurent) on
Friday Dec 1st.
I will be showing original artwork–ink and watercolour
illustrations/drawings made specifically for this show–and the
original drawings of many of the gig posters that I have made in the
past year or two. There will be cookies and cake.

The theme of the show is ‘fame’. The illustrations are ambiguous, and
made to incite thoughts on the nature of fame and why people are
famous (rather than make any explicit statements). Vague symbolic
imagery abounds.

As a further exploration of the concept of fame, during the vernissage
I’m playing the role of “famous person” for the night, by playing in
all three musical acts, in addition to having my art on the walls.

The music will be from 8 to 10:30 (No Later!), and then the Greenroom
has DJs afterwards.
