Mp3 Roundup - Long Black Veils

For a nice dose of free music late on this cool Sunday mid-summer you could check out the Sunday Mp3 Round Up on the site called “Indie Music Blog” or “Hearya” that comes out of Chicago. The site reviews and features artists (they’d probably be glad to feature or review you too, if you’re music is good, send it over!!) This week the round up consists of a combination of live recordings from an in house jam session with The Explorers Club, and other tracks, including one on this week’s list from local Montrealer Marc Berube!

This edition of the Roundup also includes a whole section dedicated to versions of the song “Long Black Veil” which is a haunting rocking song to singalong to, in case you didn’t know. The collection was missing some good versions though, in my opinion, probably just bc it’s tough to find the mp3’s of these already online. But anyway, heads up and here hear you go for a taste: the one by Bob Dylan or the dark ravaged one by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
