More Bad Uncle from the Sugar Shack Mess

I am enjoying drawing out the memory of our Indyish Sugar Shack Mess with these bits of live show audio, I hope you’re digging it too. For me the night was spectacularly impressive because preparing food for 100+ people was NOT something I was prepared to do, and I was thrilled with the success of it and amazed that Alanah Heffez and the whole team pulled it off. To me, adding this added factor to the Mess, an already complex show with lots of very different acts, was slightly scary. But they told me to trust them and they came through in a big way, with pancakes, apple cider whiskey, a relatively simple show, and a bumpin good time. Bad Uncle sort of summed the feeling of the evening up, at least in the eyes of Soundcraft and AKG’s man on the ground, Jason Bolanis, who chose only these select tunes from the night to mix down. Thanks man, we’re glad to have them!
