Today is a day of excitement and running. Last night we had the bi-weekly Team Indyish meet. This is the first meet of the month, so it’s usually devoted to brainstorming the MonthlyMess, but with an added spin of TV cameras this time - CTV, and friendly reporter host Paul Karwatsky doing interviews in the office… I mean living room…
This month we’re also excitedly involved with Hip Hop Karaoke so we talked about that with Les (at the meeting) and then again, today, on the radio with CBC. Adhika came last night too, from PremUnited to find out what Indyish is all about and see if the artists she works with might like to do an Indyish show… all seeeems happy and well, but we’ll find out more Friday when everyone will officially confirm their as now unofficial excitement!
Oh, and I met with Ric from Studio 300 to have sushi and talk about doing a next Mess together again.. Other than that, i have also been juggling the show line up, tech, and regular you know computer crashes and catastrophes and meets with random exec types in the meanwhile!
Business is weird. Now.. off to pay-what-you-can award winning blue grass at Cagibi! Golly, I love Montreal…
