Metro Party Flash Mob Heads Up

Newmindspace organizes free, fun, all-ages events like parties on subway cars, public pillow fights, giant games of capture the flag on city streets, massive bubble battles, public art installations and much more. Newmindspace is committed to reclaiming public space, inventing new ways of having fun, and creating community.
And now they’re coming to Montreal!
Greetings, space cadets! We are finally travelling to Montreal at the end of March to throw a party on the metro. We have been waiting years for this, so let’s make it count! :) We will be bringing massive speakers, costumes, decorations, and friends! We will fill the last car with happy people and ride to the end of the line and back! The theme, exact date and time, and starting station will be announced about a week in advance.
Here are some tips: We always begin at the end of the line, so be ready to travel. You may join us anywhere, though! We will also release a few rules to follow so the police don’t bother us.

Lori + KevinSalutations, cadets d’espace! Nous voyagerons finalement à Montréal à la fin du mois de Mars afin de jeter une fête dans le métro de Montréal. Cela fait déjà plusieurs années que nous attendions ce moment alors faisons en sorte que ça compte! Nous amènerons de géants haut parleur, des costumes, des décorations et des amis! Nous remplirons le dernier wagon avec des gens ravis et nous irons d’un bout a l’autre de la ligne. Le thème, la date exacte, l’heure de rencontre et la station de départ sera annoncé environ une semaine à l’ avance.
Voici quelques conseils : Nous commençons toujours à la fin de la ligne donc soyez prêts a voyager! Nous vous ferons également part de quelques règlements à suivre afin que la police ne nous dérange pas.

We totally forgot that a metro car can only hold about 125 people so we will have to figure out what to do about that. Maybe a 2 car party, hah!

i am curious! hit me! is it bc too many academics were giving papers on it? i saw some tired ones myself.
or bc that guy from harpers says he invented the flash mob and wrote that article dissecting them? anyway, whatever you call it, we gotta love it and can’t wait to have you here!
