Madcap Clothing Swap Invite

Invitation to Participate:
Madcap Community Clothing Swap.

Have stuff you want to get rid of? Everybody does, and the interesting thing is that someone out there is probably hoping to find exactly the thing you’re hoping to give away. The Clothing Swap (which is part of our Indyish Arts Weekend) works on this principle.

Clothing and other items can be dropped off at the Mile End Cultural Center from 12-3pm August 5th. The swappage starts with a whistle at 3pm sharp! and you’ll have half an hour to dig through the donated piles and try stuff on. At 3:30, we’ll stake our claims, and draw straws for contested items.

Fortunately, no matter what happens, nice people win: everything leftover when the clock strikes 4 will be delivered to the Mile End Mission on Bernard - from there, they’ll either be distributed amongst currently poor members of our community, or sold at the next Mile End Mission Bazaar to raise money for the centre’s services.
