Low Wormwood – free gorgeous indie folk rock from China

Cowboys roam my halls ghostly this morning as this song plays, tip their hats at shadows, and howl for their lost women. Low Wormwood, a folk rock band from China signed to indie record label MaybeMars, summon warriors from all our tribes and sing to us their sad songs about the things they see us losing. Or something else entirely, I don’t speak the language so I can’t tell, but I know my bones respond favorably and my brain listens and makes up stories, and that’s enough for me, but Low Wormwood offer ever more insight with this music video and it’s English subtitles:
