Indyish is looking for visual artists for its latest collaborative project, The Assembly 2.0 Art Relay.
Throughout May, writers around the world are building 10 minute scripts from a shared piece of original Canadian theatre. Each script needs to be illustrated before being passed to theatre teams and gif animators in June, who will have 48 hours to produce short plays and animations.
Bands will then work with the productions to create soundtracks in the following 48 hours for the Assembly performance and screening during the Fringe Festival of Montreal.
Illustration takes place from June 1-7. Artists can be located anywhere in the world with access to the internet.
Illustrators will be matched with a script and have a week to create their images, which will then be published in the Assembly 2.0 Projectbook and may be used by animators to make the short films.
