Peace on Earth Film Festival
The Living Lightly Project’s first film, Be the Change, has been chosen as an official selection for the Peace on Earth Film Festival in Chicago. The film will screen on Saturday, August 30, and David Chernushenko has been invited to attend the festival and participate in various discussions and workshops for filmmakers. www.peaceonearthfilmfestival.org

DVD Release
The DVD version of Be the Change is nearly ready. It should arrive in David’s hands just in time to travel with him to Chicago for a film festival (see above) over Labour Day weekend.

The DVD took longer than expected to prepare, as we decided to include a French subtitled version and an English subtitled version for the hearing impaired. Complete with bonus features and a retro-look jacket (all recycled and recyclable materials, of course), the DVD sells for $20 plus relevant taxes and shipping. It can be ordered by cheque, purchased online using PayPal, or, best of all for anyone in Ottawa, purchased in person at the DVD launch party (see below).

DVD Launch Party
It is time to celebrate a lot of hard work. David and his team will be hosting a DVD Launch Party on Monday, September 15. Come and celebrate with us the end of a long road, and the start of the next film project. It’s a secret, until September 15, when David will tell you all about it.
