About the Indyish Links Directory:

You are welcome to submit the site of any indie artist, or indie business, or indie blogger, or any kind of general business advice or resource that would be useful to indie artists or businesses. Please share only sites related to these subjects, and help us out by suggesting categories and subcategories that are missing. Once your link has been accepted, it will remain in our directory forever - that is, as long as you continue to link back to us! Also, the newest links are featured on front page of the Links Directory as well as in the sidebar on the Blog page.

How to submit a link:

Go to your website and create a link to www.indyish.com (the URL for that page of yours is your reciprocal link)
Browse the listings until you find an appropriate category or subcategory to submit your link to.
Scroll to the bottom of the listings and click on the button marked "Insert your link here".
Fill out the form and click "Submit link".
Your submission will be reviewed and an email sent notifying you of whether or not your link has been accepted.

Some things to keep in mind when submitting a link:

Please submit only indie websites or resources for indie artists.
Your site should already contain a link to Indyish. (www.indyish.com)
Submit only the main URL for your website and not any subfolder therein.
Website description should be no more than 350 characters in length.
Website title should be no more than 40 char in length.
Please choose an appropriate category when submitting your website.
Do not submit your website to multiple categories.
No inappropriate CAPITALIZATI0N of words or excessive use of punctuation marks.
No product pricing or special offers in the submitted text.
No websites made up entirely of adsence ads or other ad services.
No websites containing copyright violation, violence, fraud, pornography, racism, or vulgarity.

Suggesting a new Category or Sub-category:

Browse to the category or sub-category that is the most appropriate for your website. (the best "fit" you can find)
Click the button marked "Insert your link here" - you will be given a chance to suggest a new category here.
Fill out the form but click the link marked "Suggest a Category?" to include your new category or sub-category.
If we end up creating a new category or sub-category based on your suggestion, your link end up there - otherwise, your link will end up in the existing category or sub-category your originally applied to.

Moving your website from one Category or Sub-category to another:

Simply remove your reciprocal link to us and your listing will be automatically deleted within the next few weeks.
Once removed, you can re-submit you website to our directory under your preferred category or sub-category.
