Lickety Split zine’s new blog! (Thanks for the inspiration, Indyish)

Dear reader,

The pansexual smut zine Lickety Split is expanding like an blow-up doll with many appendages and extra sexy features! Along with our Multiples issue, the October launch parties (yes- more than one!), our film tour and an ever increasing bevy of beauties working behind-the-scenes, we are updating our website and now have a roster of writers contributing to the blog/news section.

We want to offer up more newsy/artsy/review-y/sexy stuff on-line, in between issues of Lickety Split, to keep our community up to date on all the fun and important stuff people need to know about. For example, right now you can read about Pervers/Cite, who “oppose the queer community’s total assimilation into mainstream kkkanadian culture, as well as to foreground both a local history of queer radicalism and social issues faced by queers today that are consistently glossed over by the gaystream media in favour of double-groom cakes and shopping holidays“. Tomorrow you can check out a review of Zoo, the film about zoophilia that screened at this year’s Fantasia Festival.

Indyish.com is a huge inspiration for us over at Lickety Split in terms of community-building, art-making and general awesomeness and we want to keep y’all in the loop. Thanks for being so amazing and let us know what you think about our updated blog in our wee comment sections!
