Calling all storytellers! And that includes songwriters, illustrators, sound engineers and old-fashioned writers.
“Broken Telephones” is a round-robin story that takes place exclusively on the Indyish blog. The first installment of this story was posted earlier today, in text-format on the blog. ANYONE can make the next installment. Here’s how:
1) Use your Indyish username and password. If you do not have an indyish account, or would simply prefer posting anonymously, simply email your submission to “editors at indyish.com”
2) Make the next installment of the story!! You can write it, make a GIF, create a podcast, write it as a screenplay…heck, write it as a screenplay and THEN podcast the screenplay!! Come tu veux.
3) Publish it! Make sure to put the words “Broken Telephones” in the subject header, along with the chapter number (or installment) you are writing. Also, VERY IMPORTANT: put the words “broken telephones” in the tags. There is tons of info about how to use the blog in the indyish forums - don’t be afraid to use it!
4) Feel free to email as many people as you know to direct them to the story! Encourage them to play!
To read the entire story in its order, you’ll just have to click on the “broken telephones” tag and see all the related posts.
As the story evolves, the Indyish team will post regular story synopses, as well as creative suggestions and technical updates.
